Copake Falls Church Celebrates 165 Years with Soiree

On Saturday, July 29, at 6:00pm the Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness, Copake Falls, will hold its third Summer Sparkling Soirée, this year celebrating the church’s 165th anniversary. The gala event supports the church’s programs and outreach to the Roe Jan community.

Parish member Jim Wann will start the Soirée with a concert. Jim is the chief composer and leading man for Broadway’s Pump Boys and Dinettes. He’s a music and theatre artist whose work has been performed across America and around the world.

The celebration continues under the tent with fine wines and delicious bites of summer bounty. The silent auction will feature unique items and special services from generous local businesses.

Tickets are $75. Tickets are available at eventbrite. More information is available by emailing newsletter@stjohnw.org.
