Copake/Hillsdale Farmers Market

The Copake Hillsdale Farmers Market is up and running and full of fresh, local  food every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. There are some wonderful new vendors this year. In the cheese department: Cheval Farmstead Dairy, offering a tasty and beautiful variety of cheeses, along with some yummy prepared foods. Also, Farmer’s Door has expertly curated cheeses from a dozen regional farms. Graylight Farm offers pasture-raised beef and pork, including bacon and sausage.Yellow Bell Farm is a 3rd generation farm, raising pastured poultry for the freshest chicken and eggs. And, finally, Copake’s very own Tiny Hearts Farm brings their colorful, lovely flowers.

Over 20 vendors participate in the market, offering a wide variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits, bread and baked goods, pickles, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, cheese, meat and specialty food items.

Special events, kids activities and weekly performances by local musicians, as well as a monthly artisan craft fair are all part of the market scene, making it a fun, friendly and healthy place to shop.

The market runs through October 28 and is located at the harvest barn in the Roeliff Jansen Park, 9140 State Route 22. For more information go to
