Copake Hillsdale Farmers Market Bursting with New Ideas and Food for Fun

TASTING and RAFFLE:  The acclaimed Falcon Ridge Folk Festival is coming up on August 3 – 5, with the highly anticipated pre-Festival tasting event on Thursday, August 2nd.  Stop at the Manager’s table to enter in the raffle for valuable FRFF tickets to be drawn on July 21st!

Double Up Food Bucks is a SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, aka food stamps) incentive that matches federal food assistance benefits $1 for $1 to increase affordability and access to fresh healthy foods for low-income consumers.

The program also helps direct dollars to farmers who sell at farmers markets and to other food retail, ultimately strengthening our local food and agriculture economy. It is brought to you by Field & Fork Network with support from the Berkshire Taconic Foundation.

You can purchase a Gift Certificate for any amount.

To redeem, the recipient brings the GC over to Nicole,  the market manager, who trades it for “Market Bucks” to shop with, in the exact amount of the GC. Vendors will accept the Market Bucks at their booths like currency,  and will give you cash change as needed.

Music at the Market – Every week, a talented local musician plays from 10am to 1pm.  Blues, folk, rock, jazz,

you name it, it’s great!  You can sponsor a musician too!
