Located just two hours north of New York City and three hours west of Boston, the Town of Copake offers a wide variety of activities. Wednesday, July 26th 5:00pm Winds in the Wilderness, 261 Route 344, Copake Falls, NY will present a magnificent concert of music by J.S.Bach, Faure, Piazzolla and Harrison. Performers will be Sharon Powers on flute; Judith Dansker on oboe; John Myers on guitar, Pete Toigo on bass and Ron Gorevic on Violin. The concert will be performed at St. John in the Wilderness Church in Copake Falls. Suggested donation $15.00, children free.

Thursday, July 27th, 6:00 pm Friends of Taconic State Park Chicken & Pulled Pork BBQ. Copake Iron Works, 33 Valley View Road, Copake Falls. Eat in or Take out, Vegetarian Meal Available, BYOB. Come & Say “Thank You” to our Veterans for their services and your freedom!
Ceremony at 11am, followed by Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Music, Chicken BBQ, Raffles, Prizes and gifts for the Veterans! Non-Vets tickets $10.00, tickets available at the Philmont Office or by calling 518-851-5004.

Saturday, May 27 – October 28 from 9am to 1pm. Over 20 vendors participate in the market, offering a wide variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits, bread and baked goods, pickles, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, cheese, meat and specialty food items. Special events, kids activities and weekly performances by local musicians, as well as a monthly artisan craft fair are all part of the market scene, making it a fun, friendly and healthy place to shop. The market runs through October 28 and is located at the harvest barn in the Roeliff Jansen Park, 9140 State Route 22.  For more information go to
