Computer Ergonomics at the Roe Jan Library

Thursday, March 11, 5:30 – 6:30 PM. Learn how to mitigate pain and stress when working from home with this special Tech.

With more and more people now working from home, all those hours spent behind a desk are causing body aches, stress and fatigue. Join guest host and seasoned physical therapist Gloria Kadish for tips on how to create a comfortable and efficient home work environment. The class will discuss which equipment is most suitable for a home office, how to modify existing equipment, personal posture and positions, easy stretches that can be done at your desk, and other tips for avoiding pain and stress.

This program is presented by Roeliff Jansen Community Library in partnership with Claverack Free Library, Hudson Area Library, and Philmont Public Library. Participation is free.

The Lab will be held virtually on Zoom, and we encourage logging in fifteen minutes early in case of technical difficulties. Please email Tamara Gaskell at director@roejanlibrary.org to register.
