NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Hillsdale-Copake Fire District will take place on December 12, 2017 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the Hillsdale Firehouse located at 9387 Route 22 Hillsdale, NY 12529, for the purposes of:

• electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2022.
• electing one Commissioner for a three (2) year term, commencing January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2019.

Qualified candidates for the office of Fire District Commissioner shall file their names and the position they are seeking with the Secretary of the Hillsdale-Copake Fire District, 9387 Route 22 Hillsdale, NY 12529 no later than December 1, 2017.

Only those persons who are residents of the Hillsdale-Copake Fire District on or before November 18, 2017 and are registered to vote with the Columbia County Board of Elections on or before November 18, 2017 shall be eligible to vote.
