Tax Bills are mailed out the last week of December and are due between January 1st through January 31st with out penalty, after January an additional 1% penalty will be add each month. Beginning January 1^st 2014 you can now pay your Tax Bill online or in person with a Visa Debit Card ($3.95 Fixed Visa Debit Card Convenience Fee Applies) or Master Card, Visa Credit Card, Discover Card (2.45% Credit Card Convenience Fee Applies). For further information go to http//egov.basny.com/copake or contact 518-329-1234 Ex. 2. After May 31st all tax questions and payments must be directed to the Columbia County Treasurer’s Office at (518) 828-0513.

To request a copy of a Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate or Death Certificate, please click on the the highlighted link above and complete  form and mail it to our office. Please be advised there is a $10.00 fee for each Certified Copy.
