NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Copake Fire District will take place on December 13, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Copake Fire House located at 390 County Route 7A (Center Hill Road), Copake, New York 12516 for the following

Electing a Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2022.  All Copake Fire District voters registered with the Columbia County Board of Elections on or before November 20 2016 shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates running for current 5-year term are Hugh W Davis and Scott Swenson of Copake, New York.

Any candidates for District Office shall have filed their names and the position they are seeking with the Secretary of the Copake Fire District, at the fire house at 390 County Route 7A (Center Hill Road), Copake, New York no later than twenty days before the election, November 23, 2016.
