ASSESSMENT ROLL AND GRIEVANCE INFORMATION 

Pursuant to Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law:

1. Notice is hereby given that the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Copake, NY, 

         is completed, and a copy thereof may be seen at Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Rd, Copake,

         until May 24, 2023.

2. Notice is hereby given that an Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll for the

   Town of Copake by telephone appointment only on

   May 2 9-1; May 9 10-12 & 6-8 pm; May 13  9-1; and May 16  9-1.

3. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Copake

   will meet to hear and examine all properly filed complaints in relation to assessments of Real

   Property at Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Rd, Copake during the hours of 

         4-8 pm on May 24, 2023. Grievance applications should be submitted to the town hall by May

         18^th.

4. A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the

   Assessor’s Office or the Columbia County Real Property Tax Office as well as online at:
