PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of Copake will hold a Special Meeting and Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at the Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY, 12516 for purposes of receiving public comment on Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2025, a proposed local law to expand the availability of the real property tax exemption for volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers that reside in the Town of Copake to those who provide such volunteer firefighting and ambulance work in neighboring municipalities, at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard, and to consider taking action upon such Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2025, and for any other business as may come before the Town Board.  A complete copy of Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2025 is available by contacting the Town of Copake Town Clerk’s Office.
