PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF COPAKE 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Copake, Columbia County, New York, at a regular meeting held on February 13, 2025, duly adopted, subject to permissive referendum, a resolution, an abstract of which is as follows:

RESOLUTION NUMBER 7 OF FEBRUARY 13, 2025,

TO AUTHORIZE THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FROM THE TOWN OF COPAKE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT RESERVE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL SEPTIC DESIGN SERVICES FOR MAIN STREET MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT PROJECT, SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM.

The Town Board of the Town of Copake, duly convened in special session, duly adopted a resolution pursuant to Section 6-c of the New York General Municipal Law authorizing, in addition to amounts previously authorized to be expended therefrom, the total expenditure of funds in amounts as may from time to time be approved by the Town Board, but not to exceed $1,000 beyond previously authorized amounts, from the Town of Copake Capital Improvement Reserve Fund to pay the costs of professional septic engineering design services relating to the review of contractor submittals for design intent and conformance with septic system design in connection with the Main Street Municipal Parking Lot project.

Said Resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum.
