NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Hillsdale-Copake Fire District will take place on December 9, 2014 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Hillsdale Firehouse located at 9387 Route 22 Hillsdale, NY 12529, for the purposes of:
1) electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2015 and ending December 31, 2019;
2) electing one Commissioner for a four (4) year term, commencing January 1, 2015 and ending December 31, 2018; and
3) voting on Proposition Number 1 to amend the length of service award program to change the entitlement age from 65 years to 62 years of age.

Qualified candidates for the office of Fire District Commissioner shall file their names and the position they are seeking with the Secretary of the Hillsdale-Copake Fire District, 9387 Route 22 Hillsdale, NY 12529, no later than November 19, 2014.
Only those persons who are residents of the Hillsdale-Copake Fire District on or before November 9, 2014 and are registered to vote with the Columbia County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2011 shall be eligible to vote.
