NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF PRELIMINARY BUDGET

Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Copake for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2014 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, Copake, New York where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular business hours.

Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Copake will meet and review the Preliminary Budget and hold a public hearing and consider adoption of budget at the Copake Town Hall at 9:00 A.M. on the 26th day of October 2013 at such hearing any person may be heard favor or against the Preliminary Budget as complied or for or against any item herein contained.

Pursuant to section 113 of the Town Law, the salaries for the following Town Officials are hereby specified as followed: Supervisor – $12,875.00;(2) Justice $10,300.00 each; Councilman (4) $3,605.00 each, Town Clerk/Collector – $29,544.00; Highway Superintendent – $55,412.97.
